Starting ActivitySim
ActivitySim is a program written in the Python programming language. It is usually started from a command line (command prompt). To avoid switching between two different software programs, Visum offers a procedure that starts ActivitySim from Visum.
In the procedure, you specify the location of the ActivitySim installation. Here you can specify either a Conda environment defined in the user settings or the path to ActivitySim.exe.
The procedure provides the possibility to specify additional command line parameters. The chunk size can also be specified explicitly.
During the calculation of ActivitySim, another window opens, which lists all messages of ActivitySim. When the calculations are finished, the window closes again.
